Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford simulation ends with brutal KO which leaves boxer out cold in outcome fans wonβt expect
Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford’s potential clash has been simulated and it ended in devastating fashion.
Crawford and Alvarez are two of boxing’s pound-for-pound leading stars, and have both been key to the current era of the sport as two of the most dominant fighters.
In recent months, the pair have been heavily linked with a boxing showdown as Crawford is looking to climb up to 168lbs to challenge the current unified champion.
The mega-money clash is being targeted to take place in 2025, and could be an intriguing clash of styles if Crawford is able to jump up successfully in weight.
Alvarez has suggested he would be open to the fight in the new year, but negotiations are currently on hold despite Saudi boxing chief Turki Alalshikh’s interest in staging the fight.
Many expect that Alvarez would be the favourite if the pair were to meet given his natural ability at the weight and size advantages.
But that is not how events unfolded when the match-up was simulated on new boxing video game Undisputed.
The pair walked out and met each other in a huge clash, and looked fairly even matched in the ring early on.
Alvarez got himself on top as the opening round went on, unloading some big combinations to the body and head of ‘Bud’ who did fire back.
Crawford had absorbed a marginal amount of more damage as the pair sat down in their corners before the start of the second round.
But surprisingly it was the American who came out of the traps stronger in the second period, landing more shots on his rival.
And his breakthrough came with around 30 seconds left until the bell for the end of the stanza, as he detonated a series of right hands which opened up a cut on Alvarez’s eye.

He then stunned the Mexican with a short uppercut, before putting him flat on his back with a crisp right hook.
Alvarez was able to beat the ten count and scramble to his feet, and after a brief ten second spell, the champion was able to recover in his corner.
But it was borrowed time for Alvarez in the significant upset as Crawford marched out in the ascendency again.
As the third stanza continued, Crawford was able to loop a huge left hook inside the guard which sent his foe clattering to the canvas again.
He was able to get up for a second time, but the final stages were closing in on Alvarez.
And then before the round was over he unleashed a thumping body shot followed by a clipping straight shot to the temple which left Alvarez was on his back.
The legend was out cold and despite briefly regaining his consciousness, he collapsed to the canvas motionless again and the contest was waved off.
Crawford was declared the winner, and should the fight follow the same pattern, it would be a result that would stun the boxing world.
‘Bud’ is undefeated but is seen as a sizeable task to bulk up and win by that method come fight night.
It could be a career-defining fight for both, and one that many boxing fans will clamour for in the new year.
