Why Bold and the Beautifulâs Hope Should Move On From Forrester Creations
Hope needs to remove the toxicity from her life and open herself up to new opportunities.
Itâs time for Hope to move on from Forrester Creations. She will never be happy there. If anything, Steffy did her a favor. The longer she stays at FC, the more miserable she will be on The Bold and the Beautiful. Thereâs plenty of hope in her future if she opens up to new opportunities.
Dark Downfall
As we know, Hopeâs (Annika Noelle) personality changed dramatically after her relationship with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) ended. She suddenly had a sudden urge for revenge. Hope wanted to stick it to Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) for messing with her relationship, which is why she drunkenly kissed Finn (Tanner Novlan). Hope subconsciously wanted to destroy Steffyâs marriage.
But since it exploded back in her face, she had to come up with a different trick. Thatâs when she got involved with Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor). Their relationship was driven out of lust and spite. Hope encouraged him to steal FC away from the Forresters. Hope wanted the power that Steffy had. She wanted to step in her shoes for change. But those were tough shoes to fill. Now, sheâs finding herself without a job once again.
The Forresters got the company back. Hope is outraged about Steffyâs decision to fire her. But she should be thanking her. The longer Hope remains there, the unhappier she should be. It doesnât make sense for Hope to stay with a company that she claims is toxic. It hasnât done her any good. She ended up in a downward spiral because of her obsession with all things Forrester.
What Should She Do Next?
Hope needs to distance herself from the family. The Logans ended up as their punching bags. Hope and her mom, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), should leave together and start their own company. They could even convince Katie (Heather Tom) and Ivy (Ashleigh Brewer) to leave FC as well. This would be a great way to stick it to the Forresters.
Thereâs also the possibility of Hope working at Spencer Publications. Maybe sheâd finally see the light and bring some fashion to Billâs (Don Diamont) company. This would also be a way for Hope and Liam (Scott Clifton) to reconnect. Liam would be thrilled to work with her. Itâs been a while since heâs had a woman in his orbit.
Or, maybe Hope should leave fashion altogether. She could work as an event planner for Il Giardino. Deacon (Sean Kanan) would be delighted to hire his daughter. Besides, two of his co-workers were murdered, and his establishment has been tainted by bad news. Il Giardino could use a revamp. Maybe Hope could turn her fatherâs business around. The possibilities are wide open for Hope. She just needs to wake up and realize that FC is no longer good for her or her psyche.
Every time we slide behind the wheel of an Accord, weâre reminded just exactly what a slam dunk it is. Its cabin is spacious, well-equipped, and practical. The handling is a cut above, bordering on sports-sedan greatness. A duo of fuel-efficient powertrainsâone a hybridâprovide eager forward motion. The fact that all of this converges in one, high-value family sedan is surprising, and it may have you asking: Whereâs the downside? To be blunt, there isnât one. Sure, weâd love a manual transmission, and we miss the previous-generation carâs gutsy 2.0-liter turbo four, but what you get here is perfectly fine. More than fine, really, and enough to land it on our 2025 10Best list for the umpteenth time. The 2025 Honda Accord is a rare vehicle that is greater than the sum of its parts, causing it to transcend the doldrums of the dealer lot to true icon status. As one of our favorites in its segment, the Honda Accord has also earned a spot on our Editorsâ Choice list for 2025.
What’s New for 2025?
A blacked-out SE model replaces the low-cost EX trim for 2025. The SE comes standard with black window trim, black 17-inch aluminum wheels, black mirror caps, and a black shark-fin antenna on the roof. The SEâs cabin also gets dressed up with a few extra niceties such as a 10-way power driverâs seat, a power sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, and heated front seats. All models now come with rear climate control vents and two rear USB-C ports. Hybrid models get a new 15-watt wireless phone charging pad and the Touring trim now comes standard with a heated steering wheel.
Pricing and Which One to Buy
The price of the 2025 Honda Accord starts at $29,390 and goes up to $40,395 depending on the trim and options.
We’d recommend upgrading to the EX-L Hybrid. Not only does it add the more powerful 204-hp hybrid powertrain, but it also comes with a larger 12.3-inch infotainment display, front and rear parking sensors, leather upholstery, a sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and more.
Engine, Transmission, and Performance
The Accord’s LX and SE trims are powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 192 horsepower and drives the front wheels through a CVT. Like previous generations of the Accord, it doesn’t offer all-wheel drive. The hybrid powertrain takes a more prominent position in the lineup. It consists of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder and two electric motors that combine for 204 horsepower, and it’s the only powertrain offered on Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Touring models. The Accord is smooth, quiet, and composed, and remains as refined and fun to drive as ever. Its handling is confidence-inspiring, with precise steering, well-controlled body motions, and a compliant rideâa combination that drivers are sure to appreciate as much as our editors do.
