The WWE sensation has been tipped to take on the Irishman inside the boxing ring and has now been told just how he can win the potential blockbuster showdown
Former UFC heavyweight star Brendan Schaub believes Logan Paul could ‘f*** up’ Conor McGregor if the Irishman doesn’t take the fight seriously.
Last month, reports claimed that the former two-division UFC champion is in talks to fight Jake Paul’s older brother. In a post uploaded to X – formerly known as Twitter – the Irishman wrote: “The rumours of a bout with Topuria are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon.”
India’s Ambani family are reportedly working on a return for McGregor against one of the Paul brothers. Logan and his brother Jake have both been mentioned as potential opponents, with both having pivoted from YouTuber to boxer. McGregor already has some experience inside the boxing ring having fought Floyd Mayweather back in 2017.

A tweet and story from Fightbook MMA, made reference to a potential fight between McGregor and Logan Paul which would net both men a huge $250million. The proposed bout would take place at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, best known as a cricket venue. Amid talks of a potential clash between the pair, former UFC fighter Schaub has chimed in and offered his verdict on how the dust-up could play out.
In a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, he said: “My only concern is if Conor doesn’t take it serious, if he kind of moseys in, he’s partying, I think he’ll get f***ed up. Now, if it’s prime Conor, Logan might be get pieced up.
“At one point, you’ve got to give it to the Paul brothers; one fought Mike Tyson, the other is fighting Conor McGregor. No matter how you feel about it, it’s pretty cool.”
Paul recently took to social media to share a poster depicting himself and McGregor with a grab of the Irishman’s tweet and the eyes emoji. During a recent WWE promo, Logan appeared to pay tribute to one of the Irishman’s most iconic quotes. ‘The Maverick’ is set to return on January 6 for Monday Night Raw.
While promoting his sensational return, the 29-year-old dropped a famous McGregor quote as he addressed fans in attendance. “If you have something I want, I’m gonna take it…’Logan Paul’s a bully’. Yeah! I am the bully! And the WWE is my playground!” Paul said. “So look, I’m not here to take part, I’m here to take over. Your approval means nothing to me. Whether you love me or hate me, I don’t care, because you’re still watching.”

Paul’s younger brother, Jake, is also eager to take on the MMA icon. Following reports of a potential showdown with his brother, ‘The Problem Child’ resist a slight dig at the Irishman. In a recent post uploaded to X – formerly known as Twitter – the American revealed the only way a clash between the two stars would ever happen.
“Now it all makes sense why Conor McGregor and his management team have been desperately trying to get MVP to negotiate for a fight between us,” he wrote. “As we told them them privately and I’m now saying it publicly…the only way we’re willing to explore me vs Conor in a pro boxing / MMA fight is if Dana White / UFC are at the table directly or make it clear they are ok with discussions. Conor is washed. Needs the Paul’s. Logan by however he wants.”
