Jake Paul Teases Next Boxing Fight Amid Return to Training
Jake Paul is back in the gym and gearing up for his next challenge, as the 27-year-old boxer teased fight news on social media.
Sharing videos (h/t Punch Plan on X for capturing the Instagram story) of himself shadowboxing and undergoing strength and conditioning drills, Paul captioned his Instagram post with a cryptic, “Something’s coming.”
Paul, who last fought in Nov. 2024, secured a unanimous decision win over boxing legend Mike Tyson in a controversial match that drew criticism due to Tyson’s age and the 31-year gap between them, the largest in professional boxing history.
Despite this, the event broke modern viewership records and solidified Paul’s reputation as a top-tier entertainer, if not fighter, in the boxing world.

Speculation about Paul’s next opponent has been circulating since his first was raised last November, with reports suggesting he could replace his brother, Logan Paul, in a potential boxing match against Conor McGregor.
The fight, rumored to take place in India next summer, was initially tied to Logan when McGregor made the first announcement.
Logan, however, committed his short-term future to the WWE and Raw, as Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reported on Wednesday.
Jake Paul holds an 11-1 professional record, including notable victories over MMA stars Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, and Nate Diaz.
McGregor, a former two-division UFC champion, has not competed since 2021 and is also negotiating a UFC return for later in 2025.
Although no fight between Paul and McGregor has been reported, let alone confirmed by any of the parties potentially involved in it, Paul’s cryptic message will definitely fuel rumors once again and keep fans guessing.
