Conor McGregor sends two-word message to Logan Paul amid talks over $250 million fight
Conor McGregor has issued a warning to Logan Paul as the pair continue to be linked with a boxing fight, which would take place in India and net both men a huge $250 million
Former UFC champion Conor McGregor has sent a stern warning to Logan Paul amid discussions of a boxing match – a fight that could earn both men a whopping $250 million.
In December, there were whispers that the Irish fighter was in talks to take on Jake Paul’s elder brother. In a post shared on X, McGregor stated: “The rumors of a bout with Topuria are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India. I have agreed. I will then seek my return to the Octagon.”
India’s Ambani family is reportedly orchestrating a comeback for McGregor against one of the Paul brothers. The proposed match would be held at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, primarily known as a cricket venue. McGregor hasn’t fought since 2021 when he suffered a first-round loss to long-time adversary Dustin Poirier.

He was slated to face Michael Chandler last year, but a broken toe forced him to withdraw from the match. While the Irishman is still keen to settle scores with the ex-Bellator lightweight champion, it appears he’s now solely focused on the match with Paul.
On Saturday night, McGregor took to X and issued a potent message to Paul. He posted a photo of the WWE star during a wrestling appearance, captioning it: “$250,000,000. #ImComing” – along with an emoji of the Indian flag.
The potential showdown has seemingly got the world talking at the minute. In a recent post uploaded to Instagram, Paul was left with egg on his face after the American’s poll regarding a fight with the Irish MMA star backfired.
Asking his fans how a fight with McGregor would play, ‘The Maverick’ uploaded a poll along with an edit of him and McGregor throwing a punch towards each other. However, with only 37 percent voting in favour of Paul, the American’s test failed to pay off.
Logan’s younger brother, Jake has been tipped to face McGregor as well. ‘The Problem Child’ has taken many swipes at the MMA legend over the years. In a recent post on X, the American revealed the only way a clash between the two stars would ever happen.
“Now it all makes sense why Conor McGregor and his management team have been desperately trying to get MVP to negotiate for a fight between us,” he wrote. “As we told them them privately and I’m now saying it publicly… the only way we’re willing to explore me vs Conor in a pro boxing / MMA fight is if Dana White / UFC are at the table directly or make it clear they are ok with discussions. Conor is washed. Needs the Paul’s. Logan by however he wants.”
