Jake Paul’s Message to Conor McGregor Goes Viral After Mike Tyson Fight
In what may end up being one of the more controversial fights of his career, YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul beat 58-year-old boxing legend Mike Tyson via unanimous decision on Friday.
Tyson, while in great shape for his age, could not keep up with the 27-year-old Paul, and that was evident from all three judges, who scored the bout 80-72, 79-73 and 79-73 for Paul.

Although fans on social media didn’t love what they saw Friday night, Paul is already looking ahead to his next opponents. For his next fight, Paul wants to try his luck in the octagon.
Following his win, Paul took to social media to challenge former featherweight and lightweight UFC champion Conor McGregor in a post that has since amassed over seven million views.
“Dear Conor, I know you told my team you would fight me at 170lbs,” Paul wrote. “That’s never happening. But let’s run it in MMA. No weight class. Just like how it used to be done. But you won’t.”
While millions of people have seen the post, the person that it was meant for (McGregor) has yet to respond to the challenge.

Paul is clearly trying to appeal a bit to McGregor, who lost his lone boxing match in 2017 against Floyd Mayweather Jr. UFC president Dana White said in September that he expects McGregor to return to the octagon in 2025.
McGregor’s last fight came in 2021 when he lost via a first-round technical knockout against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, which saw him break his leg. He was expected to return this year against Michael Chandler for UFC 303, but the fight was called off after he broke his toe during training.
At 36 years old, McGregor may want to make one final run at a UFC title before boxing a YouTuber. However, only time will tell.
