Next on General Hospital
Jason (Steve Burton) has never liked or trusted Jack Brennan, not when he looked like Charles Mesure, and not certainly now that he looks like Chris McKenna. And after Carlyâs (Laura Wright) brush with death in Brennanâs hotel room, that feeling has undoubtedly tripled.
After chatting with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) about Port Charlesâs WSB Station Chief, Jason rushed to Carlyâs room and told her that she and Brennan were done. On Monday, it looks like Jason goes further when he issues an ultimatum. In the sneak peek at the end of Fridayâs episode, Carly pretty much tells Jason not to give up on her. âYouâd never quit on me; donât start now.â So, does that mean this ultimatum is either Brennan or Jason?
Requests and Unexpected Conversations
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Valentineâs interrogation room conversation will include Valentin making a request of Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). He doesnât expect her to represent him, calling himself a lost cause. So, what could this favor involve? Maybe it has something to do with his daughter. Sheâs the person he loves most in this world.
Elsewhere, an unexpected conversation happens between Portia (Brook Kerr) and Nina (Cynthia Watros). Sure, Portia and Ava (Maura West) have been interacting as the co-chief of staff has consulted the broke gallery owner on ways to deal with Drew (Cameron Mathison). Did Nina discover what Drew had on Portia when she broke into his safe? Maybe Nina will offer to help Portia solve her Drew problem.
Revelations and Reassurances
Lucas (Van Hansis) confides in Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). This could be a continuation of Fridayâs scenes when the doctor revealed what went down with him and his one-night stand in Miami at the Symposium. Then she gave him a message from Ava. Where will that lead?
Finally, Drew reassures Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Drew knows that Wilow is this close to moving herself and her kids in with him, so heâll need to tread lightly here. Everybody Willow knows says Drew is shady and dishonest with her. If she calls him on it and he reassures her that heâs on the up and up and nothing but honest, and she still believes him, then Willow has nobody to blame but herself.
Every time we slide behind the wheel of an Accord, weâre reminded just exactly what a slam dunk it is. Its cabin is spacious, well-equipped, and practical. The handling is a cut above, bordering on sports-sedan greatness. A duo of fuel-efficient powertrainsâone a hybridâprovide eager forward motion. The fact that all of this converges in one, high-value family sedan is surprising, and it may have you asking: Whereâs the downside? To be blunt, there isnât one. Sure, weâd love a manual transmission, and we miss the previous-generation carâs gutsy 2.0-liter turbo four, but what you get here is perfectly fine. More than fine, really, and enough to land it on our 2025 10Best list for the umpteenth time. The 2025 Honda Accord is a rare vehicle that is greater than the sum of its parts, causing it to transcend the doldrums of the dealer lot to true icon status. As one of our favorites in its segment, the Honda Accord has also earned a spot on our Editorsâ Choice list for 2025.
What’s New for 2025?
A blacked-out SE model replaces the low-cost EX trim for 2025. The SE comes standard with black window trim, black 17-inch aluminum wheels, black mirror caps, and a black shark-fin antenna on the roof. The SEâs cabin also gets dressed up with a few extra niceties such as a 10-way power driverâs seat, a power sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, and heated front seats. All models now come with rear climate control vents and two rear USB-C ports. Hybrid models get a new 15-watt wireless phone charging pad and the Touring trim now comes standard with a heated steering wheel.
Pricing and Which One to Buy
The price of the 2025 Honda Accord starts at $29,390 and goes up to $40,395 depending on the trim and options.
We’d recommend upgrading to the EX-L Hybrid. Not only does it add the more powerful 204-hp hybrid powertrain, but it also comes with a larger 12.3-inch infotainment display, front and rear parking sensors, leather upholstery, a sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and more.
Engine, Transmission, and Performance
The Accord’s LX and SE trims are powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 192 horsepower and drives the front wheels through a CVT. Like previous generations of the Accord, it doesn’t offer all-wheel drive. The hybrid powertrain takes a more prominent position in the lineup. It consists of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder and two electric motors that combine for 204 horsepower, and it’s the only powertrain offered on Sport, EX-L, Sport-L, and Touring models. The Accord is smooth, quiet, and composed, and remains as refined and fun to drive as ever. Its handling is confidence-inspiring, with precise steering, well-controlled body motions, and a compliant rideâa combination that drivers are sure to appreciate as much as our editors do.
